Why does my child need Private Maths Lessons? With the current economic climate and jobs being hard to come by, it is imperative to give our children the best start in life that we can. Classroom sizes are a minimum of 30 and even the best teachers just do not have the time or resources to give pupils the individual attention that the subject can often require.

Private Maths Tuition is not only for pupils who are struggling though, I have some very able pupils on my books who are just looking to guarantee that elusive "A" grade or to increase their grade from B to A as well as those who are hoping to ensure that they get a C

Do you teach Maths to children of all ages?

I tutor Mathematics to pupils from Primary School  (KS1 and KS2) to Secondary School (KS3 and KS4) including GCSE Level, as well as GCSE Statistics.
I also run sessions for parents who are nervous about helping their children with their Maths homework and would like to brush up on their Maths skills.

I also offer an "ask a maths question" service where, for from as little as £15, I will give GCSE Maths model answers, explanations and demonstrations on video, to individual homework or coursework questions.

How much does it cost?

My tuition fees are £30 per hour for GCSE Level (KS3 and KS4)  and GCSE Statistics and  £25 per hour for Primary school level (KS1 and KS2). I can arrange for a group discount for pupils of the same school year who wish to be taught together.

Where do you teach the Maths lessons?

I teach in the early evenings from my home in Thundersley, near Benfleet in  Essex  and cover Rayleigh, Leigh, Benfleet, Basildon, Southend, Wickford and surrounding areas. My students come from schools such as King John School, Belfairs High School, Fitzwimarc School, Sweyne Park School, Our Lady of Ransom Catholic  Primary School etc .

Home tuition is available for those pupils, who, for health reasons, are unable to attend school, at a cost of £30 per hour during school hours.

Do you worry about helping your child with their maths homework?

There is no more need to worry! I also run small informal Maths courses during the school day for parents/carers who want to be able to help their children with their Maths homework but find the whole subject too intimidating. An individual 6 week course will cost £150, with discounts available for groups of up to 5 parent/carers who would like to get together over coffee and improve their maths skills in a comfortable, relaxed setting.
